BEIA participated in the Defence Industrial Cooperation Conference between Germany and Romania, held under the High Patronage of the President of Romania, with the support of the German Embassy and the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy on 10 November 2025 in Bucharest.
The event brought together senior representatives from government, industry, and research institutions to advance bilateral cooperation, explore joint defence programs, and strengthen innovation across the European defence sector.
During the conference, BEIA showcased and disseminated its ongoing initiatives, including PASITHEA, ECYBRIDGE, CHRISS, ISOLDE, ARROWHEAD, META-MUSEUM, FOR-FREIGHT, and many others, highlighting the company’s commitment to cutting-edge research, interoperability, and technological advancement.
We were honoured to witness insightful discussions led by distinguished speakers, including Mr. Mihai Jurcă, Head of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister of Romania, Representative for the Reconstruction of Ukraine, and National Coordinator for the European SAFE Programme Application.
With leading companies such as Rheinmetall, Diehl Defence, and Accesa contributing as speakers and sponsors, and with New Strategy Center joining as an official partner, the conference successfully opened new avenues for collaboration, capability development, and industrial growth.
The event proved to be an excellent platform for strengthening Romanian-German cooperation and for building future partnerships in the defence and security ecosystem.
