BEIA attended IoT Week 2018
The IoT Week is the most important yearly conference organized on a yearly basis by the IoT Forum since 2011. The last editions attracted about 500 participants specialized in the IoT domain, including research centers, research projects, large industries, SMEs, developers, standards development organizations, and policymakers, including the European Commission.
After very successful previous IoT Week editions that have been hosted in major European cities like Barcelona, Berlin, Venice, Bled, Helsinki, London, Lisbon, Belgrade and Geneva, this year edition was held in Bilbao. The IoT Week 2018 was co-organized by the IoT Forum and IK4-TEKNIKER and it took place from 4th to 7th of June 2018 at Euskalduna Conference Centre.
Once more, this year event addressed the latest trends in the IoT domain:

One of the event major attractions was the Startup Innovation Competition. The startup competition was held on 5th of June in Euskalduna Conference Centre. The best innovative projects awarded were:
- I award – Symplio, Bilbao (Spain)
- II award – StandardAccess, Dingle (Ireland)
- III award – Recycl3R, Palma de Mallorca (Spain)
