From 7 to 10 May 2026, the Campus Agronomie Herăstrău in Bucharest came alive with colour, fragrance, and innovation — and BEIA Consult International was there to take it all in.
Now in its 22nd edition, Zilele Horticulturii Bucureștene — organised by the University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest through its Faculty of Horticulture, in partnership with Sector 1 City Hall — brought together over 80 exhibitors, researchers, students, and nature enthusiasts for four days of exhibitions, live demonstrations, workshops, and roundtables dedicated to horticulture, sustainable agriculture, and the natural world.
Our team attended as visitors, using the opportunity to engage with the broader agri-food and research community and to share knowledge about several of our active projects that intersect directly with the event’s themes. Among those we had the chance to discuss were META-MUSEUM, SmartSense, ReCharged, OENOTRACE and SIOTIN — projects that span smart sensing, precision agriculture, viticulture traceability, and sustainable technology, all deeply relevant to the world of horticulture and agri-food innovation.
Events like Zilele Horticulturii Bucureștene are a reminder of something we believe deeply at BEIA: that technology finds its purpose when it serves the real world — the growers, the land, and the communities that depend on both.
