BEIA Consult International was proud to participate in IEEE ECAI 2026 — the International Conference on Electronics, Computers and Artificial Intelligence, held in Bucharest, 2026, presenting original research and engaging with an outstanding community of scientists, engineers, and innovators from across the field.
The highlight of our participation was the presentation of the paper “An Integrated Geospatial Platform for Climate Risk Visualization of Transport and Energy Infrastructure” — authored by Theodor Pintilie, Cristina Dobre, Robert Streche, Andrei Dănilă, and George Suciu from the R&D Department of BEIA Consult International, and delivered at the conference by our junior colleagues Anzhelika Borbak and Ana Hurtupan. The paper, developed in the context of our active Horizon Europe project ReCharged, presents an integrated geospatial platform for the visualisation of climate risks affecting transport and energy infrastructure — a contribution that sits at the intersection of climate resilience, spatial data science, and critical infrastructure protection.
Beyond the paper presentation, our team actively disseminated two further Horizon Europe projects to conference participants and fellow authors: Arrowhead fPVN and DOME — sparking productive conversations and laying the groundwork for new connections with researchers and institutions whose work intersects with ours.
The conference was a reminder of what makes scientific events truly valuable — not only the papers on the programme, but the conversations in the corridors, the ideas exchanged between sessions, and the relationships built between people who share a commitment to research that matters. We are proud of Anzhelika and Ana for representing BEIA on the IEEE stage, and grateful to the IEEE ECAI 2026 organisers for an outstanding scientific environment.
