The 2019 IEEE PES Innovative Smart Grid Technologies Europe (ISGT-Europe) is sponsored by IEEE Power & Energy Society (PES) and University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest, Romania. It will be held at University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest, Romania from September 29 to October 2, 2019. This year conference theme is “New Businesses for Energy Transition”.

Beia attended the #Healthtech event in which Professors, Researchers and Students gathered to share opinions regarding Artificial Intelligence in Medicine. It was also an anniversary edition, as Bucharest.AI turned 1-year!
The starting point was AI as seen in Medicine: several doctors’ opinions on the complexity of medicine which now exceeds the capacity of human mind, along with debates on the general impact that AI is about to bring to our lives. We also analysed the top 10 applications for AI in Health and some new ideas related to the concept of telemedicine, including hardware development and signal processing.

It was a great experience, and we are looking forward to joining more debates on the subject!
