BEIA researchers, Lucian Luminaroiu and Theodor Pintilie, successfully concluded their secondment for the Recharged project on April 1, 2025. Our team met with Dr. Sotirios Argyroudis from the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department, College of Engineering, Design, and Physical Sciences at Brunel University, as well as Dr. Stergios-Aristoteles Mitoulis, Head of Structures and Director of the MSc in Structural Engineering program at the School of Engineering at the University of Birmingham.
During the meeting, they discussed the progress of the visualization platform, with a particular focus on the Polyfytos Bridge case study. Key aspects of the project were reviewed, and future steps for the platform’s development were outlined. The collaboration between the partners involved in this activity is expected to continue smoothly through upcoming face-to-face and online meetings.
