January Press Release 2017

Beia Consult International – Siemens Approved Partner & Dialogic Regional Distributor announces the news from January, together with his partners OTT Hydromet / Adcon / Lufft, Siemens Enterprise Communications – Unify, Aspect Software, Panasonic, 3DS Dassault Systemes / Exalead, Ericsson, Cisco, Avaya and Hughes Network Systems.

Beia Consult presents the innovative project SWITCH (Software Workbench for Interactive, Time Critical and Highly self-adaptive Cloud applications) and its 2nd year of activity. SWITCH addresses the urgent industrial need for developing and executing time critical applications in Clouds. Time critical applications such as disaster early warning, collaborative communication and live event broadcasting can only realise their expected business value when they meet critical requirements for performance and user experience. The SWITCH GUI as presented at the European Commission review last year, allowed users to drag components onto the workspace, as well as manipulate and resize them. The component’s values could be edited and the whole project raw code was displayed on the right side of the screen. Different components could be linked together and users could manipulate the links so they could appear clearly on graph. Since then, the SIDE GUI has been improved as can be seen on the project website switchproject.eu.
