The PASITHEA project made a significant impact at the Black Sea Defense & Aerospace (BSDA) 2024 event in Romania. Held from May 22-24 at the ROMAERO Exhibition Complex, BSDA 2024 is one of the premier international exhibitions dedicated to defense, national security, and the aerospace industry. The PASITHEA project attracted considerable attention with its innovative approach to developing Hybrid Autonomous Unmanned Vehicle (HAUV) systems.
The event featured a diverse range of military technology and equipment from over 400 Romanian and international defense companies. The Romanian Air Force displayed an impressive array of aircraft and military hardware, including F-16 Fighting Falcons, C-27J Spartans, IAR 99 Șoim trainers, and IAR-330 Puma helicopters. Demonstrations included flight simulations and live performances by the Air Force’s aircraft, drawing large crowds. The official opening of BSDA 2024 was marked by a visit from the first female F-35 pilot, who also toured the AFAHC stand, underscoring the event’s significance and the high level of international interest in the advancements showcased, including the cutting-edge PASITHEA project. The PASITHEA project and the Wallachia eHUB project was also disseminated at PATROMIL’s booth.
