BEIA participated in HRIA project GA meeting on 15th of April 2025.
March marked the beginning of the ‘Romanian AI Hub – HRIA’ project, part of the Smart Growth, Digitalization and Financial Instruments Program 2021–2027 (PoCIDIF), co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), SMIS code: 334906.
The project spans a duration of five years. On one hand, we are developing technology, and on the other hand, applications and prototypes that we hope will eventually reach the market. We have committed to developing at least 30 such pilot projects. These will include projects such as: automatic analysis of spatial data, prediction of software defects, assisting doctors with AI tools in diagnosis, identifying the needs of citizens based on Artificial Intelligence techniques within a community, and a project for monitoring forested and deforested areas using drone imagery,” emphasized the coordinator of the innovative project.
