Communications, AI, and the New Security Economy: BEIA Consult at COMINT Romania Forum 2026

On 30 June 2026, BEIA Consult International attended COMINT Romania Forum 2026, organised by the Digital Transformation Council together with Revista COMUNICAȚII Mobile and TelecomTV, held at the CCIR Business Center, Aula Aurel Ghibuțiu, Bucharest. The forum — themed “Drone, Anti-Drone și Inteligența Comunicațiilor în Noua Economie a Securității” — brought together leaders from the defence, telecom, AI, and public administration sectors to examine the convergence of communications, artificial intelligence, drones, electronic warfare, and critical infrastructure.

The event featured VIP speakers from ROMARM, the International Drone Defence Association, the Ministry of Economy, Digitalisation, Entrepreneurship and Tourism, ANCOM, the Romanian Civil Aeronautical Authority, ROMATSA, S.N. Radiocomunicații, ICI București, and Politehnica University of Bucharest, among others, across three structured sessions exploring drones, counter-UAS systems, spectrum management, AI-driven communications intelligence, and critical infrastructure resilience.

For BEIA Consult International, the forum offered a timely and highly relevant stage. Several of our active projects sit squarely within the convergence COMINT set out to explore: CHRISS, AIAS, CIRANET, D4SPAs, SIOTIN, ResPonSE, PASITHEA, EvoRoads — alongside our broader portfolio spanning clean energy, digital health, and sustainable mobility: HRIA, ReCharged, DOME, Arrowhead fPVN, DANUBIUS-RO, PNTS, GeoSpectrum, ONCODIR, ONCOSCREEN, Ro-HydroHub, ECYBRIDGE, uBlueTec, Oenotrace, Exploit4InnoMat, ZERODEFECT4PV, META-MUSEUM, PLENTY-LIFE, ISOLDE, FASTCHARGE, H2VOLT, UMERS, and AgriNomand.

Romania stands, as the organisers put it, at a historic crossroads — the question is whether the country becomes a developer of these strategic technologies, or remains primarily a consumer. For an organisation building its portfolio precisely at the intersection of AI, secure communications, and critical infrastructure, that is a question we engage with every day.
