BEIA Participates in M100 Convention for Climate Neutrality

BEIA is pleased to announce its participation in the M100 Convention for Climate Neutrality 2025, a key European platform dedicated to sustainable urban transformation.

The event took place on November 27–28, 2025, at the “Ion Mincu” University of Architecture and Urbanism in Bucharest, which co-hosted the convention alongside UEFISCDI and the M100 National Hub.

Under the motto #NoCityLeftBehind, the convention brought together representatives from the European Commission, central and local authorities, urban leaders, academia, NGOs, and civil society. The two-day program focused on strengthening dialogue and collaboration around the essential theme: the future of cities—greener, more sustainable, and closer to people.

The convention featured official speeches, international expert interventions, panel discussions, workshops, and presentations, all aimed at sharing best practices and identifying innovative solutions for urban change. A significant highlight was the awarding of the M100 Label, which validates the progress of Romanian cities in developing their Climate Contracts and preparing for concrete urban transformation steps.

BEIA supports this crucial initiative for a sustainable future for Romanian cities.

By attending this event, BEIA had the opportunity to disseminate the following projects: PLENTY-LIFE, RESPONSE, H2VOLT, DOME and many others.
