BEIA participated in the launch event of the Bucharest-Ilfov Regional Program 2021-2027, organized by the Bucharest-Ilfov Regional Development Agency on January 31, 2023, at the Athénée Palace Hotel Bucharest.
The program was approved in December 2022 (by European Commission Decision no. 9211/2022) and this launch event was organized to mark an important moment in the development of the Bucharest-Ilfov region with the support of European funds. The total budget of the Bucharest-Ilfov Regional Program 2021-2027 exceeds 1.4 billion Euros, which means a three-fold increase in funding for projects in the region, compared to the previous period.
