BEIA Consult International – Siemens Approved Partner & Dialogic Regional Distributor announces the news from March, together with his partners OTT Hydromet/ Adcon/ Lufft, Siemens Enterprise Communications – Unify/ Atos, Gigaset, Panasonic, 3DS Dassault Systemes/ Exalead, Ericsson, LANCOM, and Snom.


BEIA successfully installed an Adcon Telemetry system at “Mircea Motoc”, a research and development center for combating soil erosion in Perieni, Vaslui County. The station is equipped with the Weighing Rain Gauge Pluvio² sensor from OTT for measuring the amount of precipitation. Also, the company participated in events as Startup Europe Summit 2019, Cybersecurity Forum, European Robotics Forum 2019, Critical Infrastructure Protection Forum and Capability-Driven Defence Research and Innovation Conference.
BEIA Consult was assessed in two projects: PAPUD and OPTIMUM. Both reviews were a success. Also, project partners took this opportunity to organize a face to face meeting, preparing for review and discussing future work.


Lufft, member of OTT Hydromet, announced the WS10, a smart weather sensor with measurement of temperature, relative humidity, air pressure, wind velocity / direction, precipitation amount / intensity / type, UV index, sun direction, brightness and twilight and global radiation. Also, it presents an Absolutely maintenance-free and extremely fast measurement of precipitation type and intensity, the WS100 Radar Sensor.


Siemens AG is to be the integration partner for the Volkswagen Industrial Cloud. Siemens will play a key role in ensuring that machinery and equipment of different manufacturers at the 122 Volkswagen plants are networked efficiently in the cloud. The resulting data transparency and analysis will lay the technological foundations for further productivity improvements at Volkswagen plants.

Panasonic Corporation announced that the IEEE Standards Association has approved the company’s next-generation broadband over powerline (BPL) communication technology for Internet of Things (IoT) as the IEEE 1901a Standard on March 21, 2019 at the Standards Board meeting in Munich, Germany. The company proposed the technology to the IEEE Standardization 1901a Working Group2 in June 2018. This standard flexibly meets various demands for IoT-related services.


Dassault Systemes, the 3DEXPERIENCE Company, world leader in 3D design software and solutions, will supply Alstom with its 3DEXPERIENCE platform to accelerate the delivery of 150 tailored trains to its customer, Trenitalia, the Italian national rail operator and part of Ferrovie dello Stato, introducing a new virtual product experience in the rail industry.
