Beia Consult presents news from partners in July

BEIA Consult International – Siemens Approved Partner & Dialogic Regional Distributor announces the news from July, together with his partners OTT Hydromet/ Adcon/ Lufft, Siemens Enterprise Communications – Unify/ Atos, Cisco, Panasonic, 3DS Dassault Systemes/ Exalead, Ericsson and LANCOM Systems.

 

BEIA Consult announces its new project TESTBED2. The aim of the project is to develop new techniques to improve the scalability of smart grid services, particularly considering the joint evolution of decarbonised power, heat and transport systems. Moreover, new experimental testbeds will be created to evaluate scalable smart grid solutions.

Also, the company hosted an workshop about Libelium solutions within the Establish project, with participation of the romanian consortium team, SIVECO. Libelium designs and manufactures wireless sensor network devices so that system integrators, engineering, and consultancy companies can deliver reliable Internet of Things (IoT), M2M and Smart Cities solutions with minimum time to market. At the company’s headquarter was also held the WINS@HI meeting where partners prepared for the last review of the project.

BEIA participated this month in BICSI 2019, an event about managing multi-site, multi-technology connectivity, campus fiber infrastructure and ict infrastructure for smart buildings. Also, the company attended the Matchmaking Event of Industry and Government on Public Procurement of Innovation (PPI), an event that aims at an open discussion on the main important issues, decisions and best practice in Public Procurement of Innovation taking into accout the experience of Danube Regional Partners.

 

 

Lufft, member of OTT Hydromet shared their first issue of the OTT HydroMet Insights, which have been created for all Experts in the Solar Industry. A free copy is available on their site and contains information about how Kipp & Zonen albedometers contribute to a new albedo model, an interview with Dattatreya Poosarla, Automation Engineer at Nor-Cal about his experience with the new DustIQ soiling monitoring system, how Lufft and Kipp & Zonen sensors are successfully used by Jambhekar Automation Solutions as well as updates on the new partnerships, Bifacial PV study with multiple pyranometers or monitoring pyranometers on site.

 

Siemens AG launched an extraordinary data visualization project called Siemens FABRIC at the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Berlin, demonstrating the crucial role that data is playing in the transformation of today’s global urban centers into the smart cities of the future.

 

Cisco, announced it has worked with the Adelboden (Switzerland) Tourist Center to provide state-of-the-art communication technologies for the co-working space at the new MountainLAB. MountainLAB serves both visitors and locals, offering working and meeting areas.

 

Panasonic Corporation’s real-time tracking and projection mapping compatible projector impressed the audience at Tokyo 2020’s “One Year to Go” Ceremony. Real-time tracking and projection mapping detects the movements and positions of the target object at high speed to achieve smooth, low-latency projection mapping.

 

Dassault Systemes, the 3DEXPERIENCE Company, world leader in 3D design software and solutions, announced that Dassault Aviation is using the 3DEXPERIENCE platform to design, develop and produce, as well as manage its value chain for all programs including a new one to continuously innovate and expand the existing Falcon range of business jets.  The company can fully control aircraft development, better integrate business processes, improve performance and reduce costs with a platform approach.

 

As part of the MoU, Ericsson will use locally developed air quality sensors that are capable of sharing environmental data including PM1, PM2.5 and PM10 levels at defined time intervals. This will lead to better monitoring and analysis of data collected from different parts of the capital.

 

LANCOM Systems, German network infrastructure supplier, is expanding its range of switches. The GS-3152X series is the vendor’s first range of high-performance switches with basic layer-3 features. These Gigabit switches are the basis for modern network infrastructures in any industry or field of application. All three models can be configured and managed either conventionally or with a high degree of automation by using the LANCOM Management Cloud and its software-defined networking (SDN).
