POLITEHNICA Bucharest, in partnership with the University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Carol Davila”, organised MedFEST 2026 — the 3rd edition of the event dedicated to medical engineering, digital medicine, and innovative technologies applied in healthcare, held 4–6 June 2026 on the POLITEHNICA campus.
This year, BEIA Consult International was proud to be among the exhibitors — and what three days they were. Our stand became a meeting point for doctors, engineers, researchers, students, and healthcare professionals, all curious about the intersection of technology and medicine. The conversations were warm, the questions were sharp, and the energy of the campus was infectious.
At the heart of our exhibition were ONCOSCREEN and ONCODIR — two Horizon Europe projects fighting colorectal cancer from different angles. ONCOSCREEN develops non-invasive, affordable early detection screening technologies, validated through clinical trials with over 4,100 participants across 15 sites in 10 EU countries. ONCODIR builds AI-driven, evidence-based cancer prevention programmes integrating multi-omics analytics, behavioural science, and health policy research.
Our wider active portfolio was also on display, spanning cybersecurity, smart energy, precision agriculture, sustainable mobility, and advanced manufacturing: HRIA, ReCharged, DOME, Arrowhead fPVN, PASITHEA, DANUBIUS-RO, PNTS, GeoSpectrum, Ro-HydroHub, ECYBRIDGE, uBlueTec, AIAS, OENOTRACE, CHRISS, Exploit4InnoMat, ZeroDefect4PV, META-MUSEUM, ISOLDE, FASTCHARGE, H2VOLT, SIOTIN, ResPonSe, EVOROADS, D4SPAs, UMERS, CIRANET.
