BEIA Consult International took part in Romanian AI Days 2026, held on 18-19 September 2026 at the Politehnica University of Bucharest. The team presented a poster on “AI-Enabled Urban Air Quality Monitoring and Virtual Sensing in the HRIA Project,” showcasing an integrated monitoring workflow that combines Libelium stations and Airly devices for real-time and historical air quality tracking, along with AI-based prediction methods for particulate matter concentrations.
The poster detailed the full data pipeline, from IoT sensing through cloud data management and Grafana visualization, to the first prediction experiments run on historical Airly measurements. Alongside HRIA, BEIA presented the DOME Marketplace, the open distributed ecosystem for cloud, edge and AI services in Europe, and Smartsense, an AI-powered virtual concierge developed together with ALTFACTOR.
