For many years, BEIA has maintained a strong partnership with the National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest, collaborating on research projects and fostering new opportunities for technology transfer and innovation.
This year, our team once again participated in the ML@AIMAS Summer School, taking the opportunity to present our ongoing research and innovation initiatives. Beyond the outstanding educational experience—combining solid theoretical foundations with hands-on practical applications, the event also gave future engineers valuable insight into BEIA’s work, our standards of excellence, and the exciting opportunities to collaborate with us as they advance in their academic and professional journeys.
During the event, we showcased several key projects from BEIA’s research portfolio, including the RISC-V–based TRISTAN and ISOLDE initiatives, as well as HRIA, PASITHEA, SMARTSENSE, OENOTRACE, SIOTIN, and RECHARGED.
We remain committed to supporting students who aspire to pursue careers in research and innovation. As they develop their expertise, they can rely on BEIA’s experience, mentorship, and collaborative spirit. At the same time, we look forward to discovering and working alongside the next generation of talented engineers and researchers who are eager to learn, innovate, and make a meaningful impact.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to the Faculty of Automatic Control and Computers at the National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest and the Romanian Association for Artificial Intelligence (ARIA) for making initiatives like the ML@AIMAS Summer School possible.
