BEIA Consult International took part in OmniOpenCon 2026, the third edition of the conference dedicated to open source, open data, open science, open hardware, open education and open governance. POLITEHNICA Bucharest, its Faculty of Automatic Control and Computers and ROSEdu organised the event on 16–17 October 2026 at the UPB Central Library, with a day of hands-on workshops followed by a day of talks.
We met students, developers and researchers from the open community and shared materials on our full active portfolio: HRIA, ReCharged, DOME, Arrowhead fPVN, PASITHEA, DANUBIUS-RO, PNTS, GeoSpectrum, ONCODIR, ONCOSCREEN, Ro-HydroHub, ECYBRIDGE, uBlueTec, AIAS, Oenotrace, CHRISS, Exploit4InnoMat, ZeroDefect4PV, META-MUSEUM, PLENTY-Life, ISOLDE, FASTCHARGE, H2VOLT, FCEV_Improv, SIOTIN, ResPonSe, EVOROADS, D4SPAs, UMERS, CIRANET and AgriNomand. Open standards and interoperability sit at the core of many of these projects, so the event felt very close to home. Thank you to the volunteer team behind such a welcoming conference!
