On 7 October 2026, BEIA Consult International took part in the Info Day: Smart City Highlights | Technology and Solutions for SMEs, held at the Central Library of POLITEHNICA Bucharest (Building A) as part of Smart City Highlights 2026, organised by UNSTPB and CITI Cluster.
The Info Day put the spotlight on the technologies that matter most for companies today: artificial intelligence, IoT, automation, sensors, robotics, data, and digital solutions for smart cities. The discussions covered how SMEs can use AI and automation to make their processes more efficient, how IoT and sensors help monitor and manage resources, and which concrete technologies companies can adopt now, not only in the future.
We used the session to meet as many participants as possible, from SMEs and technology providers to experts and representatives of the academic community. We talked about their needs, shared our experience in telecommunications, IoT, and applied research, and presented our portfolio of European and national R&D projects.
We thank CITI Cluster and POLITEHNICA Bucharest for a practical, well-focused session and look forward to the collaborations that start from these conversations.
