BEIA Consult International at CyberNext Bucharest 2026

On 27–28 May 2026, BEIA Consult International attended the inaugural edition of CyberNext Bucharest – a cybersecurity conference hosted by the University of Bucharest, organized alongside the National Cyberint Centre, the U.S. Embassy in Romania, and the FBI Bureau in Bucharest, with partners including Google, IBM, Vodafone, Palo Alto Networks, CrowdStrike, and Chainalysis.

The conference brought together high-level decision-makers from key public institutions, top cybersecurity companies, and distinguished academics and law enforcement representatives. For BEIA, it was exactly the right room.

Our attendance was anchored by four projects at the core of the event’s themes. ECYBRIDGEStrengthening Synergies in Defence and Civilian Cybersecurity – develops frameworks bridging civilian and military cyber resilience across Europe. CIRANET builds a cyberintelligence AI-based platform for risk identification and analysis in large-scale filesharing environments. ISOLDE – a high-performance, open-source RISC-V platform – delivers secure, sovereign computing ecosystems. Arrowhead fPVN provides flexible production value network management with built-in security and interoperability. And PASITHEA, our hybrid autonomous unmanned vehicle system, carries strong dual-use implications in the cybersecurity-defence space.

Beyond these, BEIA’s wider active portfolio was on hand: HRIA, ReCharged, DOME, PNTS, GeoSpectrum, ONCODIR, ONCOSCREEN, DANUBIUS-RO, Ro-HydroHub, uBlueTec, AIAS, OENOTRACE, CHRISS, Exploit4InnoMat, ZeroDefect4PV, META-MUSEUM, PLENTY-Life, FASTCHARGE, H2VOLT, SIOTIN, ResPonSe, EVOROADS, D4SPAs, UMERS and Agrinomand.

CyberNext Bucharest was a strong first edition – and we look forward to its continued growth as a key fixture in Romania’s cybersecurity calendar.
