May 2026 brought a series of productive encounters between BEIA and INFILI, fellow partner in the ECYBRIDGE project – Strengthening Synergies in Defence and Civilian Cybersecurity, funded under the Digital Europe Programme and supported by ECCC.
The meetings took place across three distinct settings, each reflecting a different dimension of the partnership. At Metal Show & TIB 2026 (ROMEXPO Bucharest, 12–15 May), the ECYBRIDGE stand served as a meeting point for industry professionals, with the project attracting the attention of visitors from across the industrial and technology sectors. At BSDA 2026 (Black Sea Defense & Aerospace, 13–15 May, Băneasa), the project found a particularly relevant audience – defence officials, military stakeholders, and cybersecurity professionals – reinforcing ECYBRIDGE’s dual-use positioning at the intersection of civilian and defence cybersecurity. The meetings concluded with a working dinner in Bucharest, where the teams had the opportunity to deepen the partnership, align on next steps, and explore future collaboration directions in a more informal setting.
Together, these three encounters reflect the energy and ambition behind ECYBRIDGE – a project that believes the strongest cybersecurity ecosystems are built not just on technology, but on trust and partnership.
