We are excited to announce that BEIA Consult International will be attending SpaceFEST 2026 — the 4th edition of POLITEHNICA Bucharest’s flagship festival dedicated to space exploration, astronomy, and space-based technologies, taking place 7–9 May 2026 at Splaiul Independenței 313, Bucharest.
SpaceFEST brings together thousands of visitors of all ages — from curious students and researchers to seasoned industry professionals — for an immersive experience featuring rocket launches, flight simulators, planetarium shows, workshops, and inspiring conversations about the future of space.
For BEIA, space is not a distant concept — it is an integral part of our research. A flagship example is CHRISS (Critical Infrastructure High Accuracy and Robustness Increase Integrated Synchronization Solutions) — a Horizon Europe project funded by EUSPA, in which BEIA is a key partner. CHRISS develops a Galileo-based timing distribution and synchronization solution designed to protect critical infrastructure — such as 5G telecommunications networks — against GNSS signal interference, jamming, spoofing, and cyberattacks. In a world increasingly dependent on space-based services, CHRISS represents a vital step toward resilient, space-enabled infrastructure for all of Europe.
SpaceFEST is a wonderful opportunity to connect this work with the wider public and to celebrate the extraordinary role that space technology plays in our everyday lives — from navigation and communication to security and sustainability.
