BEIA participated in the META-MUSEUM General Assembly held in Amsterdam on October 21, 2025.
META-MUSEUM is an innovative European project that redefines how people experience cultural heritage by fostering empathy, co-creation, and inclusion. It empowers individuals to engage with cultural heritage as a dynamic and living entity while addressing contemporary societal challenges.
By bridging fields such as museography, psychology, and computer sciences, META-MUSEUM develops evidence-based frameworks like the TransforMeans Theory (TMt), implements pilot studies in diverse contexts, and introduces digital tools for co-creation and storytelling. Through these initiatives, the project enhances resilience, confidence, and well-being, enriches cultural experiences, strengthens social cohesion, and equips cultural professionals for a more empathetic and transformative future.
