Bridging Borders in Research and Education: BEIA Welcomes Dr. Nuh Azgınoğlu from Kayseri University

On Monday, July 14, 2025, we had the pleasure of welcoming Dr. Nuh Azgınoğlu, lecturer and Erasmus+ volunteer from Kayseri University (Turkey), at BEIA, as part of the Erasmus+ collaboration.

Dr. Azgınoğlu specializes in fields such as medical electronics and engineering education and is actively involved in academic publishing and applied research at Kayseri University (see publications). His visit allowed us to engage in insightful discussions on cross-border cooperation, innovation in education, and academic-industry partnerships.

During the meeting, we had the opportunity to present some of Beia’s ongoing research projects in the healthcare, environment and security domains, including: ONCODIR, ONCOSCREEN, SHIFT-HUB, MOBILISE, CHRISS, ECYBRIDGE, DOME, ISOLDE, Arrowhead, RITHMS, FLEXI-CROSS, PASITHEA, uBlueTec, ResPonSe, PLENTY-LIFE, FOR-FREIGHT, HRIA, PNTS.

These projects sparked a productive exchange of ideas regarding potential collaboration areas in medical technology, digital health, and smart diagnostics, fields of interest shared by both Kayseri University and BEIA.
