BEIA Consult participated in The role of research and innovation in oncology, for a better and longer life for European citizens. Horizon Europe Cancer Research Mission conference on 5th November 2020.
The EU’s Framework Program for Research and Innovation, Horizon Europe (2021-2027), offers a number of interesting developments, both in terms of the proposed tools and concepts, in terms of the impact of research and innovation on European citizens.
Thus, for the first time, missions are proposed at Community level, the main beneficiary of which is European citizens. The health field has identified oncological pathology (about 200 diseases) as the main challenge for the next 10 years. This is the subject of the cancer research mission. The aim of this mission is to save 3 million people by 2030, who will benefit from a better life and a longer life expectancy.
