On 18 May 2022, STAMINA will hold its 1st International Summit on Pandemic Management in Valencia (Spain), organised by the STAMINA partner, Valencia Local Police. This will be a hybrid event with both virtual and in-person participants.
The STAMINA project funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme. The project aims to develop solutions to increase the capability of pandemic planners and responders to manage, assess, predict pandemic situations.
The consortium comprises 37 organisations from industry, health authorities, public sector, and academia from across the European Union, United Kingdom, Turkey, and Tunisia. It runs from September 2020 to August 2022.
Why attend?
- High level experts in the field will present the lessons learned from the current pandemic crisis and will discuss ways to tackle the pandemics of the future from across the EU and beyond: regional and national planners, policy makers, civil protection agencies, law enforcement agencies, first-line practitioners, and other experts in the emergencies, health field and research.
- The progress of STAMINA and the pandemic management tools developed in the framework of the project will be also presented.
The Summit will be preceded by a trial and a stakeholders‘ workshop on 17th May, where the tools developed in the framework of the project will be tested, validated and evaluated in a real-world environment.
