Beia participated at the “Smart City through Automation” workshop, organized in IEAS 2017 expo event. The workshop gathered more than 40 participants, during the presentations they got the latest technological solutions in the area of Smart Cities but also examples of good practices resulting from projects already implemented in Romania.
So, the presentation detailed the following:
- Sorin Alecu, Head of Reorganization and Efficiency Department within CE Oltenia, presented the investment program of the largest coal-fired power producer.
- Răzvan Copoiu, Vice President of Industry for South Eastern Europe Division of Schneider Electric, presented EcoStruxure, the concept that integrates the solutions and expertise of a global company with a turnover of nearly 25 billion euros and about 140 thousand employees in over 100 countries.
- Ştefan Opris, Marketing Manager LISSCOM, presented the intelligent energy management system implemented in the city of Cluj-Napoca. LISSCOM-Braşov has designed, built, serviced and maintained a city-level system for thermal energy management and management for 73 buildings (schools, universities, dormitories, canteens, sports halls, kindergartens, housing assembly) coordinated from a single data center by a single operator.
