Beia participates at ICAO EMEA Cybersecurity in Civil Aviation Summit

The ICAO Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) Regions together with the Romanian Civil Aeronautical Authority will hold the ICAO EMEA Cybersecurity in Civil Aviation Summit, a multi-disciplinary event focused on promoting and harmonizing the actions in the field of cybersecurity at global and regional levels, which is being graciously hosted by the Romanian Government, and will be convened in Bucharest, Romania from 7 to 9 May 2018.

The ICAO EMEA Cybersecurity in Civil Aviation Summit will bring together Member States, International Organizations, industry and other relevant stakeholders involved in managing cybersecurity in a high-level forum to discuss how to harmonize and promote cybersecurity frameworks.

As part of the Summit, on 8 May 2018, a table-top exercise on aerodrome cybersecurity will offer participants an opportunity to interact with other stakeholders, and exchange and gain knowledge on cybersecurity management.  Beia is pleased to announce its participation at the summit, having the opportunity to disseminate the ongoing research work from its projects, specially ALADIN – Airports Landside and Air-land Side Attacks’. The table-top exercise is jointly organized by Romania, Finland, Airports Council International (ACI) and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
